ブルネイからのメール

先日のブルネイ旅行最終日の出来事・・・
我われがブルネイからマレーシア領・ラブアン島へ渡るために、フェリー乗り場へ向かうターミナルで高速バスを待っていると、、リュックサックに「ピンクの縫ぐるみ」をぶら下げたスキンヘッドの変な人が英語で話しかけてきました。それがこの記事の主人公「DANNY」です。
このバスだけど、一台が故障中だから待っても中々来ないよ～！フェリーの時間に間に合わせるならタクシーじゃないとダメ～！！っと、アドバイスをしてくれました。おかげで、ラブアン島行きフェリーに乗ることが出来て、無事KKに戻ってきました。
旅の情けに触れて、その時貰ったアドレスに、お礼メールをいれました。

terminal. We were really at lost our way to the jetty at that time. Fortunately,
by　your advice, we were able to get to the ferry in time, and
get back home to KK safely.

そのメールには、ちゃっかりコマーシャルが添付されていました。

HE IS the most visible face in the crowd. Almost daily, one encounters him at the bus station in Bandar in his typical floral shirt with a matching Bermuda, dark glasses, silver bracelets on his wrist and the most prominent of all, his Yul Brynner style haircut. At first glance, you may mistake him for a tourist. Meet Danny aka Hadi Awg Adi, Brunei's only freelance tourist guide, who for the last 10 years has assumed the role of the sultanate's unofficial cultural ambassador by promoting the country among the foreign visitors.
